Pegasus
Pegasus ( Chamber Choir)
A select advanced ensemble, specializing in ovcal chamber music. Students are selected for their musical ability and responsibility towrd preparation and performance. Chamber Choir will perform and travel frequently. Open by audition only. This choir meets during the school day.
Athenians
Athenians (Treble Ensemble)
This is an intermediate/advanced, auditioned choir for treble voices who wish to be in a quality treble choir. A variety of vocal styles will be studied, and the course will be a continuation of vocal techniques, sight-reading, and performance skills. The group may perform at major concerts, community events, and festivals. Prior singing or music experience is encouraged but not required. An audition or director recommendation is required for this ensemble. This choir meets during the school day.
Odysseus
Odysseus (Concert Choir)
This is a performing group for the developing high school singer. Emphasis will be paced on the study and performance of many styles of choral literature and music theory. The group will continue the study of musicianship through vocal technique and sight-reading, and may perform at major concerts, community events, and festivals. This course may be repeated for credit. This choir meets during the school day.
Sirens
This is a performing group for the advanced vocal student. This group performs frequently in and out of the school dya. This choir focuses on high level musicianship and requires large amount of rehearsal practice. This choir meets twice a week before school This choir is invitation only.
