The National Honor Society (NHS) elevates a school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. NHS is a national organization whose members strive to maintain academic excellence and strong character through leadership and service within the school and community. Membership is gained through a selection process that begins in February and is open to all interested students who have a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher. Members are required to attend monthly meetings and complete both group and individual community service work.
