"I am most proud of making varsity freshman year, and qualifying for state wrestling my sophomore year."

What's one goal you're currently working towards in your sport?

"I would like to score at least 8 touchdowns, and qualify for State again in February. I would also like to improve my 100 and 200 times by at least half a second."

Describe your worst sports performance. What did you learn from this experience?

"My worst performance I would say is the Central game my Junior year. Now, I feel like I actually played pretty well that game, but in the 4th quarter I fumbled at the goal line, losing us the game."

Who are your role models in your sport or life, and how have they influenced you?

"I would say my role models are the upperclassmen that came before me. When I was a freshman and sophomore, I really connected with the juniors and seniors above me, and would try to do anything to be like them. I sought their validation more than anybody else, even sometimes my coaches."

How do you balance sports with other responsibilities like school or work?

"I have been playing three sports and working my whole high school career, so I've gotten used to it, but the biggest thing that helps me is making sure I save enough time for myself. I only work weekends, try to save enough time for hanging out with friends, and exercising some of my favorite hobbies."

What are your career or college plans after you graduate high school?

"I want to go into marketing while also studying psychology. The goal is to one day be making advertisements and commercials for large companies."

What advice do you have for younger athletes who want to join your sport?

"Spend as much time with your teammates as possible. Some of my best memories are from going out to eat with the team, messing around in the parking lot after games, even just getting rides home from the upperclassmen. The closer you get to your teammates, the less practice is going to feel like work and more like doing what you love with some of your favorite people on the planet."

Do you have any funny pre-game rituals or superstitions that you stick to?

"I always wear the same Hot Cheetos underwear during games and tournaments."

If you were to participate in a talent show unrelated to your sport, what would your act be?

"I would definitely get on stage and sing 'Chicago' by Michael Jackson."
