D6 Athlete of the Week: Amaya Cron, Greeley West High School

D6 Athlete of the Week: Amaya Cron, Greeley West High School

"Amaya Cron has been a true workhorse for the Greeley West Spartan Softball Program over the last two years. Just a sophomore, Amaya has already earned the role of one of our team captains. This is a reflection of the leadership, work ethic, and character she brings to our program every day. She represents Greeley West with pride not only on the softball field, but also in the classroom, where she maintains a 4.0 GPA while challenging herself academically." - Hannah Rivera, Coach

"Amaya Cron has been a true workhorse for the Greeley West Spartan Softball Program over the last two years. Just a sophomore, Amaya has already earned the role of one of our team captains. This is a reflection of the leadership, work ethic, and character she brings to our program every day. Amaya is a Spartan through and through. She represents Greeley West with pride not only on the softball field, but also in the classroom, where she maintains a 4.0 GPA while challenging herself academically. She is involved in school clubs and continues to find ways to be an active and positive member of our school community. Amaya is the kind of student-athlete who truly bleeds blue and gold. She works hard, leads by example, and takes tremendous pride in representing Greeley West. We are incredibly lucky to have her in our program, and I can't wait to see what the next few years hold." - Hannah Rivera, Coach
