Greeley West Performing Arts present The Musical Hadestown Teen Edition by Anais Mitchell!
April 11th-12th , 18th-19th at 7:30pm.
Hadestown by Anais Mitchell is a modern musical based on the ancient Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice along with the story of Hades and Persephone. Set in a world of industrial decay, the show explores themes of love, sacrifice, and fate. With a powerful score of blending folk, jazz and blues, Hadestown delves into the complexities of human desire, power and the struggles between hope and despair. Hadestown won 8 Tony Awards in 2019. It was the most honored show of the 2018-2019 Broadway season.
