I hope you are enjoying your summer and have had a change to take advantage of the academic and athletic summer programs we have offered to help get you ready for a great school year!
This year, our theme is "Be Legendary". Legends aren't just in the history book, they are walking our hallways and teaching in our classrooms this year. Being legendary starts with small decisions made every day. Choosing kindness when it's not easy. Putting in the work when no one is watching. To be legendary doesn't mean you need to be famous or flawless. It means you live with purpose. It means you show up for others. It means you chase your passions, speak up for what's right, and leave your world better than you found it.
As your principal, I am looking forward to a great school year! I look forward to seeing you at registration and the first day of school!
As you prepare for registration in late July and for the first day of school, a few things to do and review:

Please remember:
- Students pick up their ID at registration and must show their Student ID to enter the building. If a student does not have their ID, students may trade in their cell phone for the day for a temporary ID or they may pay the $5.00 fee to have their ID printed.
- All personal technology devices out of sight during instructional time. Devices that are out will be confiscated by staff and parents will need to pick them up.
- If your student is going to be late to school or absent, we require that you contact us at our 24 hour attendance phone line (970) 348-5407 or (970) 348-5414 or at D6WHS_Attendance@greeleyschools.org.

What you should bring:
- Credit/Debit card, cash, and/or checks
- If purchasing a Booster Family Pass you must have a separate check
- Athletic & Activities Registration - Information regarding athletics and activities at GWHS, including registration information can be found at our athletics registration website.
- Sports physical, if completed
- Medical insurance information
- Payment of $75.00 for athletic participation for each sport

- Car registration for Spartans diving to school, please bring the following to check in:
- Valid Driver's license, license plate number, and car make and model
- If your student is not driving at the start of the year, please make sure to contact the main office when your student receives a driver's license to register their vehicle
- Transportation sign up is part of the D6 annual student data update on Infinite Campus
Registration Process and What to Expect:
- Doors will lock at 10:45am and 2:45pm to ensure families make it through each station in a timely manner
- Receive your class schedule and make an appointment with your counselor if changes need to be made
- Pay past due fees and athletic fees. You may also purchase:
- GWHS Yearbook/$70.00
- Athletics Passes
- Student Passes/$50.00
- Family Pass/$175.00
- GWHS Booster Club Family Passes (Must be a separate check)
- Have your picture taken for student ID, files and the yearbook. Students must follow dress code in photographs.
- Students must come in person to pick up their IDs
- Receive your locker assignment if you plan on using it. Lockers are limited.
