Dear Parents
It is now official! Greeley West High School, by CSAP scores, had an excellent 2008-2009 school year! Whenever you have an excellent staff, combined with motivated students, the results are going to be positive.

Greeley West made significant gains in the 9th and 10th grade reading and writing scores. In addition, 10th grade science scores went up slightly. The only area in which Greeley West went down slightly was 9th and 10th grade math. Overall, it was a strong community effort, with parents, teachers, students, and administrators all contributing to the mission of improvement.

We are honored that Greeley West, with it's excellent staff and motivated students, has improved our status as being one of the best schools in the state of Colorado. However, our goal is to become the BEST school in the state, so our aim will be much higher for the coming year.

The West administration and staff will work hard to improve instruction, attendance and graduation rates. We are proud to be Greeley West Spartans.

Sincerely,
Bryan R. Wright
Principal
