Hello my name is Cheryl Faller and I serve as a counselor at GWHS working primarily with students last names beginning with F- L. I am also the main advisor for Concurrent Enrollment in the counseling office.

Allow me to introduce myself. I received my Masters of Arts Degree at UNC for a double major in Community Counseling with an emphasis in marriage and family work and School Counseling in 2002. I received my Bachelor’s Degree at CU Boulder in Psychology in 1996 and an Associates of Arts Degree at Front Range Community College in 1992. My philosophy of education is that learning is a lifelong endeavor and I believe expanding your mind through education is crucial to the development of an individual. Helping students to become passionate about life and learning should be an optimal goal for all educators. By focusing on the whole individual, educators have the potential to support, challenge and facilitate in the student’s journey for knowledge. I believe in serving students in counseling by following the National Counseling Standards set forth by the American School Counseling Association and as a counseling department we work to deliver proactive preventative counseling services in the domains of Academic, Personal Social, and Career counseling.
