Welcome to Meeker Elementary School! Meeker is a wonderful place for your child to learn and grow! I invite you to stop by and introduce yourself or to share any questions or concerns that you may have in regards to your child.

I have been an educator for 33 years and it has been an incredible journey for me! Four years ago I decided to move into administration and became the assistant principal at Meeker for two of those years. I have enjoyed my second year as the building principal at Meeker and continue appreciating being at Meeker. Prior to coming to the Greeley-Evans School District, I was an instructional coach, a third grade teacher, and a special education teacher in the Thompson School District for six years. My first twenty three -years of teaching were in Northwestern Minnesota in three different districts as an elementary teacher and a special education teacher.

I am a wife and mother of six children. My husband is Daryl, and he is a CPA who is self-employed. My children are Brent (32), Bryce (20), Kally Jo (28), Kathryn (22) Braden (21) and Blake (17). Brent has a business in IT, Bryce is working in Minnesota and has returned to the college world part time, Kally Jo has her doctorate in Law Psychology and works in Centennial, CO, Kathryn is attending CSU pursuing a Master’s Degree, Braden is a junior at CSU and Blake is a freshman. Three of my children are still living at home, so there is always much activity and very little quiet time. (My children have discovered it is cheaper to live at home than to live on campus.)   :)

Family and education are my priorities. I believe that all children deserve the best possible learning environment to allow them to succeed and grow as a student and individual. As a building leader it is imperative instruction is based upon student data to ensure all needs are being met. Thank you for sending your child to school each and every day on time, prepared and for supporting the school in the education of your child.
